Here’s a great idea that is super simple and almost a no brainer for summer! These Grilled Cheese Waffles take only a few minutes and they are an easy weekday lunch idea for quick summer lunches with the kids!
My kids like a basic grilled cheese so we use Butter, Cheese and Bread, I often add meat or other ingredients to mine so you can dress these up as much as you want! I also like to mix in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and parsley into my butter to make a little more flavorful! A grilled cheese can be as basic or fancy as you want and using a Waffle Iron to Grill your Grilled Cheese makes them so simple!
To Make the Grilled Cheese Waffles just butter your bread, place your cheese in between 2 pieces and place on the Waffle Iron. I cook mine about 4 minutes on a high heat setting or until they are evenly browned.
I also love how easy these are for kids to eat, the waffle maker makes the pieces easy to tear apart and the perfect size for kids!

That looks good but if you don’t have a waffle maker can you make it with a pan on the oven?
Yes you can, you’re just not going to get the effect of the waffle. This is just more fun for the kids and easier to pull apart.
