This Bisquick Mix Recipe is the perfect go-to when you don’t have any Bisquick on hand!! And it’s made with ingredients you probably already have on hand!
I love to make things from scratch, but in all honesty I’m really bad at getting around to it :) I just tend to fall into that trap of running out of time and doing whatever is quick and easy. I’ve found a great solution to buying Bisquick! You can make your own Bisquick baking mix then you have it on hand and ready to go when you need it.

How should this be stored and for how long?
Thanks, Kim
This has shortening so it’s shelf stable but I wouldn’t keep it longer than 3 months probably just because it’s opened, etc.
Love recipes I can make and have on hand rather than store bought! Do you just add water when you are ready to make? How much of the mix do you use and how much water?
Thanks!
You use it just like Bisquick for any recipe. Biscuits are just 2 Cups Mix and 2/3 Cup Milk
WOW….I am definitely going to make this – it will be a lot cheaper than buying the box in the long run.
Quick question – for the pancakes and biscuits it says “cups mix” – how many cups in each recipe should I use of the bisquick mix??
Thanks Again
