The Pizza Hut Book It program is one of my favorites. I loved getting my free personal pan pizzas as a kid, and now it’s fun to see my own kids earning them. Pizza Hut has branched out the program now and made the program available to ages 5-12! Check out all of the great Freebies we’ve posted!
Pizza Hut Book-It
The Pizza Hut BOOK IT program is back for fall/winter 2026, and enrollment is open now. You can continue earning free pizza for reading through the school year if your teacher or homeschooling teacher enrolls you! You will need to download the BOOK IT! mobile app to participate, and you can register up to five children ages 4 to 12 in grades pre-K to 6th grade.
How does the Book It Program work for classrooms or homeschooling teachers?
The Book It program runs every year from October 1 through March 31 each year. There is also Camp Book It for the summer months!
Teachers who work at accredited schools for Pre-K through 6th Grade (ages 4 – 12) can sign up each year for their classrooms. Set a goal for the classroom (this could be the number of books or pages turned they have to read), and then when a student reaches their monthly reading goal, the teacher can award them with a certificate for a free one-topping personal pan Pizza Hut pizza.
Your child will be able to use this free app to earn free 1-topping personal pan pizza by meeting parent-set reading goals. There is a minimum of 20 minutes a day for at least 15 days per month to earn up to FIVE free pizzas per family, per month!

Heres how to get started:
- Download the BOOK IT mobile app from the App Store (Google Play coming soon).
- Begin registration as a parent and enter your child’s information.
- Set their daily reading goal from 20 – 60 minutes per day, and document how much they read.
- Start tracking towards their goal.
The app’s Reading Tracker tracks your child’s daily reading in real time, and the Rewards at Stats shows their goals and progress towards earning a free pizza.
If your child reaches their monthly goal, the app will show a “Claim Reward” option with a personal code. You can then claim their FREE Personal Pan Pizza at participating Pizza Hut locations right in the app using the personal coupon code.
Keep in mind that there’s also a limit of five pizzas per month, per family.
How Much Does Book It Cost?
The best part about Book It program is everything is FREE! All my kids have loved signing up and participating in the reading program. The reward of a free, one-topping personal pan pizza is an awesome prize!
