So Christmas is 2 weeks away! I can not believe it. It is fast approaching and I’ve been thinking about my list and who I still need to get gifts for. I decided I needed to have some go to Christmas gift ideas that I could put together quickly, but that would be cute and functional. These inexpensive Christmas gift ideas are all $5 or less.
Do you have anyone with a sweet tooth on your list? How cute are these mini porcelain baking pans? While I was at the craft store, I found these baking pans in festive Christmas colors and patterns for just $1! I thought they would be great filled with something sweet and gifted to a friend. If you have a great bread recipe, mix up a batch and bake them in these pans. I decided to whip up a batch of candy coated popcorn and filled the pan full to take to my friend down the street. These could be filled with anything and would be such a fun gift.
Maybe you know someone who has a green thumb. Even if they don’t have a green thumb but like gardening or plants, these small succulent plants are hard to kill. I’ve kept mine alive since October! The small succulents I found at Home Depot for $2 each. The mini pots (2 in.) can be found at the craft store for less than $1, along with the patio paint, which is about $1.50 . You don’t have to use patio paint on the pots, you can use any acrylic paint that you might have. I painted up the pots in some fun holiday colors and put the succulents into the pots once they were dry. I think my kids teachers will love these!
These next two gifts I put together from wandering the aisles of the dollar store. Maybe you don’t have a craft store super close to you, but you have a dollar store. Take a walk around it one day and see what fun ideas you could come up with for Christmas gifts.
I personally love baking and think this gift would be awesome. I just think you can never have too many baking tools! I found lots of different hot pad options but I like the glove hot pads best. I decided to put the spatula and mixing spoon set inside the hot pad. I tied a cute bow around the hot pad and attached a measuring spoon set to the bow.
My husband loves a clean car. And my kids love to help him wash the car! It’s a win win for me. It keeps everyone occupied outside, so I can get things done inside. :) I picked out the necessities for washing the car and put them all in a bucket that he can use to wash the car. I’m excited about the windshield washer thing. I can’t wait to see how it works!
