For those of you who don’t know, today, October 15th is National Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day a day set aside by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to remember those families who have lost babies through Miscarriage, Still Birth or the loss of an Infant.
This is a day that is near and dear to my heart as we Remember our Sweet Presley Kate who was Born almost 2 years ago this November. To all of you who have lost little ones my heart goes out to you and I want you to know you are not forgotten and you are not alone.
Over the last few years I am so grateful for those God has brought into my life who have walked this Journey along side of me. We know our sweet babies are in Heaven and I am so thankful for the HOPE we have in Jesus Christ, that we will once again see those sweet babies.
The last year has been a journey of Learning to Trust and incredible blessings as we welcomed our new baby boy into our family a few weeks ago. I can’t wait to tell this little guy about his Big Sister some day!
I know so many of you have similar stories, I was reminded again yesterday just how many mothers have lost babies and how little this is talked about. I would LOVE for you to share your story, and leave your babies name or gestation with us in the comments so that we can all remember together!
