Many stores are changing their requirements for shoppers and we wanted to bring you the latest requirement. Most stores are at least recommending that customers wear a face mask to shop but we are seeing Stores Requiring Face Mask! So we wanted to compile a list of them. Stores Requiring Face Mask
We all want to do our part to stop the spread of the virus. Some states will have requirements and some have recommendations for wearing a mask. This is a fluid list of stores that are requiring face mask and you should also check with your state to see if they have requirements. Here is the growing list that we have found!
American Eagle – If you plan to shop at American Eagle anytime soon then you will need a face mask. They are required for customers and associates. Face masks are available if you do not have one. Read more about AE policy here!
Best Buy – Customers are required to wear a mask when shopping at Best Buy. Their policy does state that small children and those unable to wear one for health reasons may still enter their stores. They will provide mask for those that are in need of one. Read their policy here!
Costco – We posted about Costco requiring customers to wear a mask. Starting 5/4 all customers will be required to wear a mask while shopping in the store. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2 or to individuals who are unable to wear a face-covering due to a medical condition. You can find out about all their requirements here!
CVS – In a recent statement, CVS has announced that starting on July 20, customers will be required to wear a mask when they enter the store. Read the latest updates from CVS!
Dollar Tree – It’s not required at Dollar Tree but they do request that customers wear them. They will require them in areas that is mandated by a state or local ordinance. Read more here!
Home Depot – Their mask policy will go into effect on July 22. Small children and those with valid medical condition are not required to wear a mask.
Kohl’s – You will need to have a mask to shop at Kohl’s starting on July 20. They will require all customers except for those that cannot wear one due to medical reasons. Click here to read the full statement!
Kroger – Customers will need to wear their mask starting on July 22. Read the full statement here.
Lowe’s – Starting on July 20, customers will be required to wear a mask while shopping at Lowe’s! Those that do not have one will be given one while supplies last.
Meijer – This is a state by state requirement. They are suggesting that customers wear a mask while shopping. Find out more here!
Menards – Are requiring that all guests wear a mask or face covering while shopping in their stores. You can read their statement and requirements here.
Publix – The Grocery chain announced they will require mask starting on July 21.
Sam’s – The new policy for Sam’s Club will start on July 20. All customers will be required to wear a mask when shopping at Sam’s!
Smart & Final – You will be required to wear a mask if you want to shop at Smart & Final stores. They ask that “our customers join us in following CDC guidelines for social distancing while in our stores and parking lots, by keeping a distance of six feet between themselves, any other shoppers and our store associates.” Find out more here!
Starbucks – If you are craving your favorite Starbucks drink then make sure you have your mask.
Target – Starting on August 1 the retailer will require customers to wear a mask when they enter the store. Those with underlying medical conditions and young children are exempt.
The Fresh Market – If you are shopping at The Fresh Market you will be required to wear a face mask. They ask that you are wearing a face mask before you enter the store. Find all the details here.
Walgreens – Is asking customers to wear face coverings before entering their store except for when doing so would inhibit the individual’s health or those under two years old. Walgreens advises against confronting customers about the policy or trying to keep them from entering stores. Find out more from Walgreens!
Walmart – The new store policy will take effect on July 20 and will require all customers to wear a face mask when you enter the store.
Whole Foods Market – If you plan to shop at Whole Foods, you will need a mask. The good news is they will give you one for free starting May 7 if you do not have one. Read more about Whole Food’s requirements here!
