The best part about this recipe is that it is so easy to throw together. You can even even make it the night before you are planning on serving it so that you can save yourself time on party day! The only reason I wouldn’t make it too early is that the graham crackers may get soggy.
It only takes 3 ingredients to make this cake and just 5 minutes to whip together!
Strawberry Icebox Cake
INGREDIENTS:
2 8 oz containers Cool Whip, thawed
1 1/2 lbs Strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 1/2 packs Graham Crackers
DIRECTIONS:
Spread a 1/2 container of whipped topping in a layer on the bottom of
an 8×8″ pan.
Add a layer of graham crackers, breaking as necessary to cover whipped
topping.
Top with another 1/2 container of whipped topping and smooth with a
spatula.
Add 1/3 of the strawberries in an even layer.
Then graham crackers, whipped topping, strawberries,graham crackers,
whipped topping and strawberries.
Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
