If you want a fun indoor activity grab the supplies and get to creating a one-of-a-kind floam! This can be a great activity for a rainy or chilly day outdoors.
What Do You Need To Make This Floam
Slime – buy or make your own slime if you want. Any color works, and you could even do a scented slime for something extra for this v-day slime floam.
Foam Balls – I buy the slime foam balls to make sure that they are the right size. You will find some foam balls will be larger and it won’t give you that floam texture you want.
What Color of Foam Balls To Use?
Use any color of foam balls you want. I used Valentine’s Day colors, but feel free to use any colors you have or want. Or do a mix and let your kids decide what to mix in.
How to Make Floam With Slime Feel Less Like Slime?
Adding more floam balls will take the slime feeling away. Within no time of mixing you will have the texture of floam! It is so simple to make and is similar to what you can buy in the stores.
Easy, quick, and a fun DIY activity!
Storing Floam
If you want to save your floam for later, all you have to do is place in sealed bags. Remove as much air as you can. Or use sealed containers for the floam.
It will last a few weeks when stored properly. After so long it will become a lot stiffer to play with and then you might want to toss and make new.
Ways to Play With Floam
Cookie Cutters – Use any shape of cookie cutters to create fun designs and shapes with your floam.
Shape Letters and Numbers – Have your child do shapes and letters to work on items they are learning in school.
Imagination Play – Let them play to their imagination!
