Extreme Couponing Strategy #16 – Unadvertised Deals
If you have been following this Extreme Couponing Series you know that watching the sales and store ads is an important aspect of Extreme Couponing. Another important aspect you don’t want to miss are the In Store Only and Unadvertised deals.
One of the things we focus on here on the blog is providing you not only with awesome store lists and coupon match-ups, but we also want to give you the best In Store Deals and Unadvertised Sales we can find. These deals come from readers all over the nation and allow you to know which deals to anticipate in your stores before you get there. That way you can have your coupons printed and ready to go!
In store only deals are typically mark downs or clearance items that are only advertised in the store, these are typically prices or specials marked on the store shelves that you wouldn’t know about unless you’re in the store looking for them. Since most stores run advertised sales each week we call these in store deals, “Unadvertised Deals” You can check the homepage daily for New Unadvertised specials at all of your favorite stores. Or check the store pages for updates. Every new deal we post for a specific store will be located on that stores page.
Another great way we see unadvertised deals is through Facebook Pages. Companies are more frequently running specials for their facebook fans, this might be exclusive coupons or notice of in store deals that we don’t see in the weekly ads. These are a great way to find Unadvertised Deals online so make sure you are following all of your favorite brands and stores on Facebook. You can find Unadvertised Catalina Deals listed on the Coupon Network website. This is the company website for the Catalina Machines located at the front of Grocery Stores and some Drugstores. By watching the “Your Bucks” page you can find new Catalina Offers before they are posted in your store. You can print these offers to get specifics on dates, products included, and the stores in your area that are participating. Since this website is run by the same company running the machines I’ve found it to be very accurate and often I can find in store deals that aren’t posted by using this method, it also allows me to get to a hot sale before everyone in my area knows about it.
