In reality, the time to start saving for Christmas is now. Keeping Christmas in your thoughts enough to start saving now is a great idea. Here are 12 creative ways to save for Christmas now.

#1. Buy presents throughout the year during big sales.
There are many times of the year that stores and online companies have amazing sales and deals to help you save money. Great sales opportunities come around the days after Christmas, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, back to school, and Thanksgiving Day (better known as black Friday).
Target, Kmart and Walmart all have Toy Clearance Sales at the end of July to clear out toys and make room for new stuff during the Holidays, these sales are often one of the best times to buy!
#2. Start by saving a little each month.
Start by saving a little bit of money each month. You can find printable plans online that are great charts to help you stay on track. Every little bit that you can put aside now will help you buy the gifts that you want to buy.

#3. Buy through a website that gives you money back savings.

A good way to make some extra money is by having a garage or yard sale. It is also a great way to declutter your home and get rid of things you don’t need anymore. You can save the money you make from your sales toward your Christmas presents.
