I need to Know if you put baking soda in your tea?

  2. Jay says:

Not like McAlisters at all in my opinion. McAlisters has a special contract with LIPTON for a black tea mix so the tea leaves that are store bought themselves aren’t a complete match up. Side note; for every 5 gal of tea use 8 cups of sugar. -a former McA employee

  4. Teresa Cumberland says:

You are not supposed to boil tea. It releases tannins and causes bitterness. Tea should be steeped.

  5. jake says:

when do you take the teabags out, thanks!

    1. Passion For Savings says:

After you boil the hot water with the tea bags in, I take them out when I pour the hot tea over the sugar. If you leave them in the tea will become bitter.
