3 Companies that will PAY you to try FREE Products!
Over the years I have joined several different Online Survey Company. When our budget was really tight I would use the gift cards and cash I earned to buy things we needed or things I wanted :) It was something simple I could do from my home while my kids were napping, while we were watching TV at night or in my free time and I loved having that little bit extra that I didn’t feel guilty about spending.
Every once in a while a company would send me a FREE PRODUCT and on top of that they would PAY ME to tell them what I thought about the product! Seriously, this was and still is one of my favorite ways to make money from home. You can’t beat getting paid to try free stuff + I really enjoyed trying new products before they hit the shelves and getting to have a voice in new products, there were a few that ended up being launched in stores later on and that was really cool to feel like I was a part of the process.
Here are 3 of My Favorite Companies that will PAY You to Try Free Products:
Toluna – This is one of my favorite companies for Paid Product Trials because they let you apply for Free Products! Every week they add new upcoming products and they work with brands like Maybelline, Nivea, Loreal and more! Sign Up for Toluna Here.
Pinecone – Pinecone is one of the highest paying companies out there, they pay per survey and while they don’t often advertise their free products this has long been one of my favorite companies, they will normally ask at the end of surveys if you would be willing to try the product and provide feedback, if selected they will send you another opportunity to accept with the product guidelines. Pinecone works with major brands and they often require you to sign a non disclosure before receiving products since most aren’t in the stores yet. Sign Up for Pinecone Here.
MySurvey – This is a great survey company that will let you take surveys, earn points and redeem those points for awesome gift cards. You will also have the opportunity to get Free Products if you qualify by taking specific surveys. The more surveys you take, the more you increase your chances of getting Paid Product Testing + You’ll get paid for each survey you complete. Sign Up for the My Survey Panel Here.
Why Would a Company Pay You To Try Free Products?
I know you’re probably thinking I’m crazy right about now, but manufacturers are developing new products all the time and most of those products go through extensive testing before they are sold in stores. Companies use survey companies to find people in the demographics they think will use the product to get feedback and improve the products before they hit the shelves. It’s really a great way for average consumers to test and respond to new products and it’s a win win for both the company and the panelist.
Does it Cost Money to Try the Products?
Nope, There are No Shipping Costs, and I recommend NEVER Paying to sign up for a company, these companies should be paying you and you shouldn’t ever pay to join a company or get an offer. The Top 3 Companies I recommend are Toluna, Pinecone & iPsos iSay Survey Panel. These three offer Frequent Product Testing so they are my favorites and the ones I have personally done Product Testing for.
How Much Can I Earn?
Every survey company is a little different, the prices also depend on the type of product your testing, how much is involved and how many surveys they ask you to complete. Normally you get paid for each step in the process, ie. filling out the first survey before they send the product, filling out a survey about the product packaging when you receive it, filling out a survey 1 month later, etc. My experience is I have been paid anywhere from $10-$60 for product testing opportunities and as much as $250 for local in person research opportunities. It’s really just going to depend but the more you do the more qualified you will be for future opportunities.
