I love making these 4 Ingredient Blueberry Biscuits ahead of time, freezing them, and then heating them up for busy school-day morning breakfasts. Back to school season is always SO hectic for our family, and preparing a bit on the weekends with recipes like this one help our weeks go MUCH smoother!
How to Make 4 Ingredient Blueberry Biscuits
You literally only need four ingredients for these, though by how incredible they taste, one would never guess!
Ingredients for Easy Blueberry Biscuits
- Fresh Blueberries – If you use frozen, that’s just fine! Be sure to let them thaw and drain the extra liquid before mixing with the biscuit dough.
- Buttermilk – Regular milk will not work with this recipe.
- Sugar
- Bisquick
Instructions for 4 Ingredient Berry Biscuits
Preheat oven to 450ºF. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper cut to size. In a large mixing bowl, combine Bisquick, buttermilk, and sugar until a soft dough forms. Add blueberries and gently fold into dough.
With an ice cream scoop, scoop out 8 scoops of dough, spaced 2-3 inches apart onto the parchment paper-covered baking sheet.
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the biscuits look dry and are cooked through. They will just start turning slightly golden around the bottom edges.
If you would like to make a glaze for the biscuits, combine the powdered sugar and milk in a small mixing bowl and whisk until well combined. Drizzle over the biscuits. Serve immediately!
These 4 Ingredient Blueberry Biscuits can be frozen in a sealed container and heated up in the microwave or oven at 300 degrees covered in foil for 20 minutes.
