It’s that time of year, time to Decorate for Fall and I have a few Cheap Fall Decorating Ideas that I wanted to share with you. These are simple ways you can add a little Fall to your home without spending a fortune!
1. Decorate around your candles.
One of my favorite ways to decorate is by using larger jars and vases and filling them with Fall Themed Items. I love using Popcorn because of it’s orange/yellow color and it doesn’t really go bad easily so you can leave this out for several months.
Other ideas include: Cranberries, Fall Colored M&M’s, Coffee Beans, Candy Corn & Caramels.
You don’t even have to include candles, you can do a collection of jars filled with different fall themed items for only a few dollars.
I like to invest in clear glass items like this Cookie Jar on Amazon for only around $8 and then change out the items inside for every season!
2. Paint Inexpensive Decor Items
I love Paint :) Especially when it comes to decorating you can completely transform the look and style of items just by adding a little paint. Try grabbing those small colored pumpkins at Walmart or the Dollar Tree for around $1 each and spray painting them different colors. My son and I did this in only a few minutes outside. Just lay out some newspaper and paint the bottoms then allow them to dry before you paint the tops. These are adorable in a jar or fall themed bowl.
3. Add Some Sparkle
This is a project you can get your kids involved in and they will love! All you need are some pumpkins (Large or Small), White Glue, Paint Brushes and Glitter!
Paint the Pumpkins with White Glue, Dust with Glitter and allow to dry!
These are adorable by the front porch or in a fall arrangement inside (Just remember that if you put them inside you need to preserve them so they don’t rot)
