I’ve tried No Bake Oreo Cheesecake, but I really prefer this Oreo Cheesecake Recipe with the baked in the oven texture. The Oreo Cookie Crust is AMAZING!
Oreo Cheesecake Recipe
2 Packages of Oreo or Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
1 Stick of Butter, Melted
2 12-oz. Bags of Chocolate Chips
2 8oz. Packages of Cream Cheese
1 ½ Cups of Sugar
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
In a Food Processor chop one package of Oreo Cookies into fine pieces
Add 1 stick of Melted Butter and Pulse
Press Oreo Crumbs into the bottom of a 9×13 pan
Bake at 350 Degrees for 5 minutes
In a bowl combined 2 8 oz. Packages of Cream Cheese that is room temperature, 4 Eggs, 1 ½ Cups of Sugar and Vanilla into a Bowl. Mix with a Hand Mixer or Kitchenaid Mixer until smooth and creamy.
Melt one bag of Chocolate Chips in the Microwave or Double Boiler, stirring frequently so that it doesn’t burn. In the microwave I normally do 20 seconds at first, then reduce to 10 seconds.
Add Melted Chocolate Chips to the Cheesecake and Beat until well mixed.
Place Cheesecake Mixture on top of Oreo Cookie Crust
Bake on 350 degrees for 55-60 Minutes until center is set.
Allow to cool in the Refrigerator or Freezer for 30 minutes
Place the Remaining Bag of Chocolate Chips in a small glass bowl
Heat Heavy Whipping Cream in a small saucepan until boiling, reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes while stirring.
Pour Heavy Whipping Cream over Chocolate Chips and let sit 5-10 minutes without stirring
Stir Chocolate until creamy. Optional add another 1 tsp. of Vanilla
Pour Ganache Topping over Oreo Cheesecake and top with additional Cookie Crumbs
