How To Make Tree Shape In Apples
Now I just used a knife and make it by hand. I cut triangle shapes on each side of the apple to give it that Christmas tree shape. Granted they are not perfect or the same for each, but it offers a rustic feel.
How To Keep Apples From Browning
I soak my apples in a lemon-lime soda, like 7Up or Sprint. This is a great way to help add protection to the apples to help them not brown near as fast. I soak the cut apples in the soda for 10 minutes, and then assembled my fruit kabobs.
Can I Make These Christmas Kabobs Ahead of Time
Not really. You don’t want your fruit to get soggy or apples to brown. I recommend making these close to when you are ready to serve them. You can make as many or as little as you would like to serve up your family, friends, etc.
