End the Summer with some Easy Recipes from some of your favorite brands! If you’re anything like me you are feeling the need to get some things accomplished after a really fun Summer! I personally feel so accomplished when I have a meal plan!
By starting my meal plan now I can savor the last few weeks I have with my kids at home and at the same time be ready for the Back to School schedule! I try to plan my meals on a weekly basis and go grocery shopping once for the entire week. It would be fun to try a new recipe from this site each week.
Confetti Sprinkle Cookies Recipe
Today, I made the Country Crock® Make It Yours™ Cookie Recipe with Mix-Ins. My meal plan usually has one fun dessert in it, but I also want something easy I can make with the kids! I decided to make the cookies with Confetti Sprinkles. These are really cute for a Birthday or any Holiday. If you purchase the sprinkles that go with the Holiday colors this will really make them festive!
I used Country Crock spreadable sticks I picked up at my local Walmart, along with the other items I needed for the recipe.
My daughter enjoys time with me in the kitchen, and I enjoy being able to teach her a few things about baking.
To make the cookies, preheat the oven to 375°. Mix Country Crock® Spread, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla in large bowl until well mixed. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda until blended. (Dough will be soft and creamy.) Stir in 1/4 cup sprinkles.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets 3-inches apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool 1 minute on wire rack; remove from sheets and cool completely.
For the glaze, stir confectioners sugar and warm water in a medium bowl until smooth. Spread over cooled cookies, then sprinkle with remaining 1/3 cup sprinkles. Let stand until glaze sets.
The mix-in options are really endless! I can think of several mix-ins that would change up this recipe for any occasion!

On the site, I also found some great One Pot Meals, and I’m all about that the more and more I cook. I get a little weary of doing so many dishes all time. I’m sure some of you can agree with me on that!
You can get appetizer, beverage, dinner, or dessert recipes all in one place. I love that too! You don’t have to hunt around to different places to find recipes for each part of your meal.
