This Crockpot Barbecue Chicken Recipe is a great way to get a home-cooked meal without spending too much time in the kitchen! Crockpot Barbecue Chicken
Bone-In Chicken (4-6 lbs)
1 Bottle of Barbecue Sauce
2 Tablespoons of brown sugar
Arrange chicken in bottom of slow cooker.
Pour entire bottle of barbecue sauce over the chicken.
Sprinkle brown sugar on top.Cover and heat on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is 165 degrees.

- 2 Tablespoons of brown sugar
- Arrange chicken in bottom of slow cooker.
- Pour entire bottle of barbecue sauce over the chicken.
- Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
- Cover and heat on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is 165 degrees.
The chicken can be served as is, or a couple hours before you serve you can remove the chicken, shred it, and put it back in the crockpot for another couple hours. If you remove the Chicken from the bone, you can serve as sandwiches or any other recipe calling for shredded barbecue chicken.
