I love cooking a turkey in my slow cooker, this Crockpot Turkey Breast Recipe is super simple! In fact, it’s so simple that you can put your turkey in the crockpot and walk away :) Plus you don’t have to have your turkey cooking in the oven which gives you more space for all the Yummy Thanksgiving Desserts!
Here’s what you need:
2 Tbsp. Salt
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
3 Tbsp Cajun Seasoning
2 tsp. Black Pepper
2 tsp. Garlic Powder
2 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Directions:
Completely Thaw Turkey Breast in the Refrigerator for 24 hours
Place Thawed Turkey Breast in Crock PotCombine All Ingredients for Seasoning in a Bowl
Rub Seasoning All Over the Top of the Turkey Breast
Add 1/2 Cup of Water to Crockpot
Turn Crockpot on High for 5-6 hours or on low for about 8 hours
Remove from Crockpot, Slice and Serve Hot
Another option if you want an even simpler method is to purchase a pre-seasoned turkey breast. You can purchase the Cajun Seasoned or Smoked Turkey Breasts and you don’t have to do anything but thaw them and place them in the Crock-Pot add the Water and Turn it On.

OK, back to the turkey. If you want it to brown, so it has that pretty, golden color, do you brown it in the oven first, or in a large pan? Than does it cook the same in the crockpot?
This might be a dumb question but are you cooking a whole turkey? I saw it said turkey breast so I wasn’t sure.
