CVS Extra Care Program Changes
So, for the first time in 20 years CVS has announced an overhaul of their Extra Care Rewards Program, delivering a simpler, faster and recurring rewards!! You can check out the announcement right here but I wanted to point out a few changes myself. Overall I feel like these changes are positive and will give us more flexibility with our rewards.
New Birthday Rewards
Each ExtraCare Member will get a $3 birthday reward to spend during their birthday month! You can use this reward on a variety of products at your local store. These rewards will show up automatically if you have shared your birthday on your CVS Account.
FREE Gifts
In celebration of these program changes, CVS is offering special Freebies each week in the CVS App starting in late June and throughout the month of July. ExtraCare members will find a new free gift each week in the app, anywhere from beauty essentials to better-for-you snacks and treats. These Freebies will vary by user.
Quarterly Rewards Ending
Right now you CVS ExtraCare Members earn 2% back in Extra Bucks at the end of each quarter. Starting in July 2021, you will earn 2% back in rewards you can spend immediately or you can save up and spend them within 90 days.
