Here is a cute one for a house with girls.  In this example the paper dolls are made with paintings made by the kids.  The back of the apron includes an activity to be done with the kids.  For example write a letter to a family member or family friend, donate some old toys to goodwill or make a gingerbread house.

This advent calendar idea could be done a couple different ways.  You can make magnets that will be taken off each day, or you can buy little treats (candy or little gifts) and put magnets on the back of them and hang them on the calendar. Either way makes for a very cute handmade advent calendar.
