- Great Way To Dress Up Room
- Budget Friendly
What Do You Need For This DIY
Flowers – You can actually use any type of flower you would like. I used white flowers with greenery. But feel free to add color with tulips, or other types. Even peony flowers would be gorgeous.
Glass Vase – You want to use a glass vase as you want the candy to show through the vase. But use any shape or size of vase you would like.
Candy – I used Cadbury eggs for this, but any egg shaped candy works great. I loved the look of the pastel colors with the greenery and flowers.
Wire Cutters – These are needed for cutting off the ends of the flowers and the greenery. This is handy as scissors might not do the job if they have a lot of wire in them.
Scissors – Grab a nice pair of scissors to use for cutting and trimming items.
How To Make Easter Candy Centerpiece
Full steps are in the printable card at the bottom of the post. But this is a visual walk through for readers if they want to see fully how to assemble.
Start by opening up your candy and pouring into your glass vase. I filled almost all the way up to the top of the vase.
Now you will work on adding on flowers and the greenery. Just begin pushing the flower stems into the candy.
Then just place on a table, mantle, etc. in your home. This is so simple to make and you can literally assemble it in minutes.
How to Make With Real Flowers
If you want to use real flowers you have to find a smaller container that fits in the center of the glass vase. Then you will place candy around the outside of the second container so it looks like the vase is fully filled with candy.
The second vase is where you add water and place your flowers. That way your flowers have water they need but the candy is what shows, and not the stems of the flowers.
