Beef Stroganoff is one of my family’s favorite meals. It’s a hearty meal and we especially love to eat it in the Fall and Winter. This one is perfect for busy nights, while still wanting a home-cooked meal feel, you can use the Marie Callender’s dry mixes, available only at Walmart.
Saving time with the dry mix can be really helpful to busy families whether you have evening activities with your children or maybe you’re just in a season of life that you’re working a lot and don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
Easy Beef Stroganoff Recipe
1 Homestyle Stroganoff Marie Callender’s Dry Mix
1 lb Fajita Sliced Steak (ground beef or ground turkey are great substitutes)
1 bunch Asparagus
1 Red Bell Pepper
Sour Cream
First, I washed and cut my red bell pepper and asparagus. Then I cooked my fajita sliced steak. Then you can basically follow the directions on the back of the Marie Callender’s Homestyle Stroganoff Dry Mix.
I added the pepper and asparagus when I added the noodles and cooked them the same amount of time as the noodles. I added some sour cream at the end for a little added flavor!
The recipe is really easy to make so it’s perfect for when you need to make a quick, yet hearty meal for your family.
Adding fresh vegetables can help you get some of your daily veggies. I chose asparagus and red bell pepper this time. I love the health benefits of eating vegetables! Each time you can switch up the vegetable and give your recipe a little variety. Some ideas are broccoli, spinach, asparagus, zucchini, and bell peppers.
