Can we just agree there’s nothing more fun than whipping up some lemonade with the little ones? Maybe is just me or is the insane heat that we are experiencing or maybe is that I love a good excuse to bond over, but I just find myself making this Easy Kiwi Lemonade recipe again and again during these warm months and every single time is a big hot in the family.
This is part super refreshing drink, part super fun to drink refresher, and part incredibly flavorful. I also love the fact that’s incredibly affordable. I got lucky and found the kiwis on a huge sale at my local supermarket but even if you don’t find a deal on kiwis you can pretty much swap them for any other fruit (watermelon and pineapple are 2 favorites around here as well).
The other thing that I really like about this kiwi lemonade cooler is how easy it is to whip up and how full of natural ingredients it is! While you can also use bottled lemonade, trust is that the process of making the lemonade is so fun that you don’t need at all to do so! A couple fo lemons, some water, and a sprinkle of sugar are all you need.
Then is just a matter of squeezing, blending and adding a ton of ice (the more the merrier) and you are pretty much all set.
For the kiwis, I decided to cut big slices and let them infuse their flavor in the lemonade and since the slices are pretty big they are a little fun “snack” to nibble while drinking the cooler, is that gross? because truth to be told I find it pretty delicious. Also, they look pretty awesome inside the glass and work as a pretty easy garnish.
