1.Wash the windows with Coke.
I have heard this trick before, but actually went to go use it myself and it works! Can you believe that windows come clean with a little bit of Coke? Try it!
2.Use newspapers for washing car windows.
Put a little bit of coke on your car windows and then wash down with old newspapers. Let me know if you try this and if it works for you.
3. Use toothpaste on your headlights.
It always stinks when your headlights get a little foggy from dirt and everyday wear and tear. Take a little toothpaste to a washcloth and shine those headlights right up.
4. Keep wipes in your middle compartment.
When I am sitting in a drive through or stuck in my car for a long period of time, I start to clean it. Which is why I keep wipes, either baby wipes or Clorox wipes, in the middle compartment in my car. I simply pull out the wipes and start cleaning. Genius and therapy of sorts.
5. I keep laundry sheets in my vehicle.
I get so tired of my vehicle not smelling very clean, which is why I keep laundry sheets in it. You know the ones that you put in the dryer to make sure your clothes smell good? Those. They are lifesavers, especially if you have ever changed a dirty diaper in your car.
7. Take your car through the car wash to avoid rust.
If you live in snowy parts of the country, don’t delay in taking your car through the carwash after winter. If salt stays on your car it can eat away at the metal and rust. This tip is so simple, yet so genius.
8. Invest in a car wash mitt.
Cleaning the outside of your vehicle can be sort of therapeutic, which is why you need the right tools to help make it go smoother. Buy yourself a car washing mitt off Amazon or eBay. Your life will be so much easier whenever it’s car washing time.
9. Keep plastic bags in your car.
This genius car cleaning tip has saved me so many times. If I need to get junk out of my vehicle, I just grab one of the plastic bags that I have in my car and fill it up. I get two uses out of the bag and I get the junk out of my vehicle.
10. Don’t use dishwashing soap on your car.
One genius tip you want to keep in mind is to not reach for the dishwashing soap whenever it’s time to wash your car. Make sure you use a vehicle cleaner that’s is really meant to wash your vehicle.
11. Invest in a small hand vacuum.
I love this part of cleaning my vehicle. I actually bought a small hand vacuum and I just pull it out whenever things get messy in my vehicle. It’s a lot easier to use a hand vacuum than use a huge hose in my vehicle. I just make sure the hand vacuum has really good suction.
When it comes to cleaning your vehicle, any of these tips will work. What tips do you have for cleaning your vehicle that makes the process much smoother? I love my car cleaning tips!
