This Green Bean Casserole Recipe is my personal favorite! I can remember making this for myself to eat as a meal when I was younger. There is something about the crunchy and creamy texture that is the perfect combination. This side dish recipe is a staple in our home around the Holidays. We have it at Thanksgiving and Christmas to complete our Turkey Dinner! Here are even more of our favorite Thanksgiving Recipes!
Green Bean Casserole Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
2 Cans of French’s Green Beans
1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Can of French-fried Onions
Salt
Pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Combine green beans and cream of mushroom soup in a square baking dish and stir well.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place the green beans into the oven for 20 minutes.
Remove the green beans from the oven and stir.
Add the french-fried onions on top and place them back in to the oven for 5 minutes.
Remove your Green Bean Casserole from the oven and enjoy!
**If you are in a hurry you can always microwave the green beans and mushroom soup for 2 minutes, stir, and an additional 2 minutes. Then put the french-fried onions on top and put it in the oven for 5 minutes so that the onions can get brown and crisp.
