Get ready… It’s coming… You probably didn’t even know it existed but GREEN Monday is almost here!!! In case you missed it last year, or the year before Green Monday is the new Black Friday! And in preparation for Green Monday I thought I would share 5 things you need to know about Green Monday Deals Online.
What is Green Monday?
First things first, I know you’re probably asking yourself “What is Green Monday?” and you’re right there’s really not an official day or holiday but it’s a term retailers made up :) There you go, in complete honesty Retailers make up the term “Green Monday” because having a name for a day lets them run “Sales” and motivates you to shop!
When is Green Monday?
The Monday after Cyber Monday (Which is the Monday after Thanksgiving) is officially “Green Monday” Retailers know that we have a tendency to shop when we go back to work. Everything we meant to do during the weekend we get online to do while we’re at work on Monday so retailers offer “Green Monday Sales” as an incentive to shop.
Are there really good deals on Green Monday?
It Depends on what you are looking for! If you missed an item on Black Friday and Cyber Monday we see a lot of similar sales. Stores are racing to get every last dollar of your Christmas Budget so the closer we get to Christmas normally the lower the prices go, so Yes typically we do see some really great sales! Also, retailers realize time is running out on the window to purchase online and still receive your items before Christmas so this is one of the last big pushes before the shipping deadlines.
How do I find Green Monday Deals?
Check your email! Your favorite sites should be running Green Monday sales which means they will let you know when those sales go live. Typically websites communicate via email so that’s the first place I would look. Also, don’t forget to Join the Passion For Savings Facebook Group! We will be posting all the best deals all day long!
When is the best time to Shop Green Monday Sales?
Just like with Black Friday or Cyber Monday you want to shop early! I’ll be posting deals on the Passion For Savings Facebook Group Wall as they go live. Amazon will also have even more great lightning deals that day so don’t miss those. Almost all websites switch over sometime between Midnight EST and Midnight PST. So you’ll want to stay up late or set your alarm early to get up and check out the best deals. I’ll also be sending out an email with the best Green Monday Deals on Monday Morning so make sure you sign up below for email updates!
