Have you been able to see Hamilton? It is one of the most popular Broadway shows and the audience just rave about it! Disney purchased the rights to the show and the plan was to release it in theaters for the world to watch. So in 2016, the Broadway performance was filmed over 3 live performances! This was filmed with the original cast members!
The problem that Disney+ has is they can’t film new content for their streaming service. The solution is to release Hamilton a year earlier and not in theaters!
