Find out how easy it is to make your own Homemade After Sun Lotion to have on hand this summer.
I love finding things that I can make at home. Not only do I usually end up saving money, but I know exactly what goes into everything I make and use on myself or my kids.
Here is how you can make your own Homemade After Sun Lotion:
What you Need:
>> 3 tablespoons 100% Aloe Vera Gel
>> 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
>> 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
>> 1 tablespoon Cocoa Butter
>> 15-20 drops of Lavender essential oil
What you Do:
1) Mix together all of the ingredients into a medium bowl until they form a paste. Some of the items like the cocoa butter or coconut oil may need to be warmed in the microwave for just a little bit to soften them up enough to mix them with other ingredients.
2) You can store the mixture in any airtight container. A mason jar works great. You don’t have to refrigerate this mixture, but if stored in the fridge it will be extra cool on your skin when you need to use it.
It’s that simple! Mix up a batch according to these directions, or make an even larger batch and it should last you all summer!
And be sure to try this Homemade Recipe this summer.
