If you have kids, you will especially want to check out this Homemade Resolve Carpet Cleaner recipe! As adults we cause our share of messes so we can’t blame them all on the kids.
I cannot count how many times we have have a little mishap in the house and did not have any carpet cleaner on hand. Now I know I can always easily make some with items I already have on hand.
Resolve is a great product, but I always feel like it is a little too costly for me. Plus I’m never quite sure what it is made out of. Making my own lowers the cost drastically plus I know all of the ingredients that go into it first hand!
Follow these easy instructions and make your own Homemade Resolve Carpet Cleaner!
What you need:
Water
3 tablespoons dish soap
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ammonia
What you do:
Fill an empty and clean foaming soap dispenser about halfway with water. Add about 3 tablespoons of dish soap (Dawn works great!), 1 tablespoon of vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon of ammonia. Shake very gently to mix ingredients together.
Use the dispenser to put the foaming mixture onto the stain in your carpet. Let it sit for a few minutes and then lightly scrub with a damp cloth.
