If you love making your own homemade cleaners as much as I do, you will want to try this Homemade Soft Scrub! It works as well as the store bought version and costs less to make. Plus it is made with less harsh ingredients then the store bought version. I love it!
This homemade cleaner works on tons of items in your bathroom and kitchen, from cleaning sinks, polishing chrome fixtures and stainless steel appliances. It’s great on most countertops as well!
What You Need:
>> 2 tablespoons castile soap
>> 3⁄4 cup baking soda
>> 10 drops essential oil of your choice
>> About 3 tablespoons Water
What You Do:
>> Combine the first three ingredients and add just enough water to make a paste.
>> Put your mixture in any container. Squirt top containers work great for this.
When using your Homemade Soft Scrub, put a small amount on the area you need cleaned, or onto your damp sponge, and scrub gently. Rinse with warm water to get rid of the residue. Plus it is made with simple ingredients that you possibly already have on hand around the house.
I love reusing items you sometimes just throw away, and this is a great way to reuse some containers that may have just ended up in the trash or recycle bin. For example, you can you an old ketchup or shampoo bottle as your homemade soft scrub container. Just clean it out well and relabel.
If you prefer, you can usually pick up small sized squirt bottles at the dollar store. I like the little sized clear bottles. Perfect size for mixing up a small batch of homemade cleaners.
Whether you have a long list of homemade cleaners you are currently using, or this is the first one, you will love this Homemade Soft Scrub. Great for tons of jobs in the bathroom and kitchen!
