So your little one got hold of your Sharpie. Or let’s be honest. I’ve accidentally written on things when trying to be so careful. The table once or twice and my pants on numerous occasions. Well here are some pretty good tricks that will remove permanent marker from almost anything.
–If you have permanent marker on your clothes, you use Hand Sanitizer. I wouldn’t try this on delicate fabrics. Leave those to the professionals.–If you have permanent marker on the walls, usually toothpaste or hairspray will get it off. Hairspray if rubbed too hard could remove paint, so go gentle.–If you get permanent marker on the carper, try white vinegar.–If you get permanent marker on wood, use rubbing alcohol to remove it.–If you have permanent marker on your skin, quite a few things will take it off easily, like hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol. Sunscreen sometimes also works.–If you have permanent marker on your granite, you can use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide.

When I taught school, I used finger nail polish remover to remove permanent magic marker on any and every thing. It worked great.
Looking for a solution to permanent marker on my daughter’s doll. I’ve tried magic eraser, goo gone, and hair spray.
Any tips on removing permanent marker from dry erase board? I’ve tried everything from hairspray to alcohol – even magic eraser but nothing has worked yet!
Go back over the permanent marker with dry erase markers and then erase it. I know it sounds crazy, but it works.

How do you wipe it off, and how long do you let it sit? I am teaching Sunday school and there was some permanent marker art left over from last year and I can’t get it off!
