Make Your Own Pine Sol

Most people love the way Pine Sol clean, there are many who can just not tolerate the smell.  And since it is quite full of chemicals, many others just want a “greener” cleaner.  Keep reading to find out how you can make your own cleaner that will work just as well as Pine Sol, but without the chemicals or harsh smell.Here is how you can Make Your Own Pine Sol.

What You Need:

3 cups hot water

1/3 cup lemon juice

4 Tbs Baking Soda

3 Tbs liquid dish soap

5 drops tea tree oil

What To Do:

–Heat up water hot enough that it will dissolve the ingredients.

–Remove from heat and add in all the remaining ingredients except the tea tree oil.

–Stir until other ingredients until they are dissolved.

–Once cooled, add the drops of tea tree oil.

–Store in an empty (and clean) milk jug or reuse another cleaner’s squeeze bottle, depending on how much you decide to make.  Just make sure to label the reused container.

You can use this like you would Pine Sol.  Add to a bucket of water for cleaning the floors, or mix a small amount with water and use to clean counters and other surfaces.  Works great!
