A super fun and easy thing to do at home with your kids is making Playdoh. So today I am sharing with you my Microwave Playdoh Recipe that we use. It’s the perfect at-home activity to do with your kids.

Materials
- 1 Cup Water
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 8-10 Drops of Liquid Food Coloring
- 2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
- 1/3 Cup Salt
- 1 Cup Flour
Instructions
Directions:
Combine the Water, Vegetable Oil and Food Coloring in a Microwave Safe Bowl
Add in Cream of Tartar, Salt, and Flour
Stir everything for a few minutes until all the lumps are gone This is VERY IMPORTANT!
Cover with a wet paper towel and Microwave on High for 30 seconds
Remove and Stir, then Microwave again on High for another 30 seconds
Scrape the sides down and stir everything really well, Microwave another 30 seconds
One more time, Scrape the sides and stir, then cover and Microwave another 30 seconds
Now stir your playdoh for about 3 minutes until smooth
Notes
Note: If it is sticky continue microwaving 10 seconds at a time until it stirs together and isn’t sticky!
Store in an Airtight Container for up to 3 months!
