I absolutely LOVE having my nails done and polished to perfection! But what I don’t love is the price tag at the Nail Salon when I go. So this past month I’ve been on a mission to find a great At Home Nail Dip Powder Kit! And wouldn’t you know, Amazon came through again!!
At Home Nail Dip Kit
I tested a few At Home Nail Dip Kit’s before settling on the Revel nail kit as my go-to. I found this Kit on Amazon after a good friend recommended it. And she was right! It was by far the easiest at-home kit I have used. And it lasts for me! I loved having my nails done at my local salon but the every two-week need was really eating into our monthly budget. So I decided to try the at-home route to save money.
Revel Nail Dip Powder Liquid Steps 1-4 & Brush Cleaner
The Revel Nail Dip Powder Liquid Kit is what you need to get started plus your choice of color powder. Now don’t expect these to be Salon quality your first time. It does take practice but it’s definitely not as hard as you would think. This starter kit is $30.99 on Amazon right now. That’s less than the cost of going to the nail salon one time for me!!!
- Step 1: Pro base preps the nail and allows the dip powder to adhere to the nail
- Step 2: Activator allows the dip powder to harden and it gives it a beautiful shine
- Step 3: Finish gel is applied after the nail is prepped, dipped, and activated
- Our brush softener will melt the glue off of your brush and make it as good as new
Revel Nail Dip Powder
After you get your Starter kit you would need to pick a dip color you want. If you’ve never done dip before know that the colors are sometimes lighter than what’s pictured. This is Revel Nail Dip Powder D23(Ginger), 1 oz and it is $10.00. This is a great color for Fall! And for those Holiday parties for girls like me who aren’t quite bold enough for the bright red! HA!!!
Revel Nail Dip Powder 1oz – D175 Juno shown above is $14.99. It may be a bit more since it seems to be a popular color. But I think it’s a great shade of pink. Not too bright but not dull either.
HOW TO APPLY:
To apply the Dip Powder you’ll need to prep the nails by removing cuticles and buffing the nail surface. We recommend using our Step 1, Pro Base, and then dipping each nail into the powder, two dips per nail. Then use our Step 2, Activator to harden the powder. After it dries, you can shape and smooth your nails with a buffing block. Then apply Step 2, Activator again to each nail. Next, you will use Step 3, the Finish Gel, to seal your manicure, leaving you with gorgeous nails!
Just toy around with the kit when you get it. Don’t get stressed if they don’t turn out flawless your first time. Practice is your friend!! But if I can do this you can too!!! And just think if you are a regular at the nail salon this will save you SO much money that you could put towards Christmas gifts!!! And if you find any good colors I should try let me know!
