Have your kids ever played with Perler Beads? My kids LOVE them and I kind of do too! It’s just a fun and easy activity you can do with your kids or if they are old enough they can do alone. You may also want to check out all of the great Craft Kits we have found on sale lately.
Perler Beads are such a great craft time not to mention a perfect rainy day activity! It’s been a rainy week here so I decided to break out all of our beads on the kitchen table and let the kids get creative. And they did…. for hours! My kids are a little older now and as the pieces are small and take some concentration I wouldn’t recommend it for younger children. It’s also great to work on those fine motor skills.
If you’ve never used Perler beads they are just small beads that are placed on plastic boards to make patterns. After the pattern is made, you place wax paper over the beads and iron on low heat. The beads will melt together. Then peel the beads off the tray, fold the paper over and melt the other side.
