I have been on the hunt for Fun & Easy Easter Recipes & Crafts to do with my kids this year and I came up with a fun idea for Rainbow Scratch Paper Easter Eggs!
My kids love using Rainbow Scratch Paper and I spotted some on Amazon the other day for really cheap! I knew we would have some rainy days coming up and some extra time at home and they would probably LOVE this so I grabbed a package on Amazon!
Since Easter is coming up I thought it would be fun to create fun Easter Egg Designs using the scratch paper so I came up with a quick template for an Easter Egg that the kids could trace and cut out.

How to Make Rainbow Scratch Paper Easter Eggs
I just had the kids flip the rainbow paper over and trace the Egg Shape on the back of the Scratch Paper, then we cut out the egg shape using scissors before starting our designs.
The scratch paper I ordered on Amazon came with some wooden “pens” to use to make designs, you can also use skewers to scratch the paper. I did try a pencil but a sharpened pencil didn’t work very well so I would recommend the skewers if your paper doesn’t come with them.
My kids had fun going to town creating their own designs! If you have little kids you might want to pre-cut the egg shape, but it’s a really simple easy activity that didn’t require a lot of adult supervision!
