How to Make Shadow Art
You could use a flashlight lying on the ground or the late afternoon sun streaming through the window or outside as your light source to create the shadow. Lay the thicker paper or cardboard on a flat surface and arrange the plastic animal toys (We used dinosaurs!) in a row at the edge of the cardboard.
Then, all you have to do is trace the shadow! You can either leave them on the paper and color ro cut them out.
What To Do With Shadow Cut-Outs
You can color them in or cut them out and make your own puppets. Plastic farm animals, zoo animals, or dinosaurs work super well! This is just a fun way to enjoy the sunshine and at-home fun without getting out doors.
If you have a day that is nice out, go out and enjoy some sunshine if you want.
