During the month of May and June I will be posting some of my favorite Summer Ideas for Kids. I have a Huge Pinterest Board with pins from bloggers all over the nation that you will want to make sure you’re following so you don’t miss any of these ideas!
My kids have been begging to plant a garden, we normally have a garden in our backyard but we are in the process of selling our house and buying a new one so there’s not much time or reason to plant a big garden this year.
Last week I spotted these Adorable Herb Kits at Target in the Dollar Spot for you guessed it! Just $1!
These little kits contain everything you need to start your herbs from seeds, then when they reach 3″ you can plant them in a larger container.
All you do is Add the disks to a cup with Warm Water, then pour the soil into the Greenhouse.
Once you’re done with the soil you can plant the seeds in the soil, cover with the greenhouse lid and place in a sunny spot!
You could also create your own Herb Garden with Pots, Soil and Seeds from your local Home & Garden Center but these little kits were just about the perfect set for my kiddos who are only 5 and 3, However if you have older kids it might be fun to plant even more different herbs and then experiment with different recipes!
