How to Make a Temporary Tattoo Pumpkin
You only need a few supplies to make this festive Halloween activity!
Supplies You Need for a No-Carve Tattoo Jack-o-Lantern
- Pumpkin – I used a white pumpkin so the tattoo colors would really pop, but you can use any color of smooth pumpkin.
- Paper towel or washcloth – This is for wetting the back of the tattoo so it sticks to the pumpkin.
- Temporary Tattoos – I used temporary tattoos with a Halloween theme, but you can use any design you like!
- Water
Instructions for a Temporary Tattoo Pumpkin
First, unwrap your temporary tattoos and discard any you don’t want to include in your project. If you’d like, you can lay them out in the order you’d like to put them on the pumpkin, but you don’t have to.
Next, peel off the clear plastic over the tattoo and place it with the design-side down on the pumpkin. Wet a paper paper towel and press the wet paper towel against the paper back of the tattoo. You’ll need to hold it about ten seconds. Gently peel up the paper and check to make sure the temporary tattoo transferred completely and didn’t stick to the pumpkin.
Repeat this process over and over until you’re happy with how your pumpkin looks. You could place the tattoos all over the pumpkin or in a row (or any way you’d like!)
