Things You can Make in a Keurig Brewer
1.) Fresh Lemonade
Do you love homemade lemonade? I sure do, that is why I use my Keurig brewer to make lemonade. Whether it is summertime or winter this is always in rotation in our home! No need for a lemonade K Cup, learn how to make it without!
2.) Oatmeal from A Few Shortcuts
Start your morning with a bowl of oatmeal. Here you can make instant oatmeal in minutes. Serve up with your favorite fruit, toppings, or do simple brown sugar and milk!
3.) Ramen Noodles from Instructables
Here is a great one if you have a teen in college. They can use their Keurig to make a hot bowl of their favorite ramen! Affordable, easy and tasty. No need for a stove for this recipe.
4.) Instant Mac and Cheese Cups
You can use any Instant mac and cheese cups that you would microwave. Add water into the Keurig and brew with the cup under it. You can even transfer it into a bowl if you want. Let it brew and sit for a couple of minutes to tenderize noodles. Then stir in the cheese packet as directed and enjoy.
5.) Instant Rice
If you have Instant Rice on hand you will love this method. You will add 1/2 cup Instant rice into a coffee mug. Then you will choose the small cup setting and let the hot water pour in. Then let the hot water soak into the rice. Within a few minutes, you have tender fluffy rice.
6.) Cocktails
Whether you reach for hot chocolate or coffee you can pair with alcohol to make coffee cocktails to enjoy after a hard day or entertaining your guests.
7.) Pasta
If you enjoy pasta, you have to try this recipe out. Take 8 ounces of water, or do the small cup. Add around 1/4 cup pasta to a mug. Brew the water in Keurig and then let sit for 3-4 minutes. Pour the water out, and brew more hot water and let it sit again for another 3 minutes. Repeat till the pasta is tender.
Then add in all your toppings like shredded cheese, oil, etc. Or eat it plain. Smaller pasta works best, as you don’t want longer pasta or it will clump together.
8.) Dalgona Coffee
Try out this Gingerbread Dalgona Coffee for a mid-day snack or morning pick me up. This is full of warm spices, loads of flavor and downright delicious.
9.) Baby Food from Happy Healthy Mama
If your little one eats Instant style baby food, the Keurig can swoop in. Add your baby food powder, add hot water with brewing, let set and then serve up creamy cereal.
10.) Steamed Vegetables
Take frozen vegetables and place around 1/2 cup of veggies in a larger mug. Brew 8-10 ounces over the vegetables, and allow them to sit for a minute or two. Drain off water and repeat if needed until vegetables are warm. Then season as you would like.
