Dalgona Whipped Gingerbread Latte
This warm gingerbread latte was the perfect way to start the day. Affordable, easy, and better than my coffee shop version. This coffee recipe was my morning caffeine boost full of warm and rich spices.
Why This Recipe Works
- Quick and Easy to Make
- Simple ingredients you have in your pantry
- Taste similar to a coffee shop drink, for a fraction fo the price
How to Make
Start by getting all your ingredients out, I find that is very helpful. Then go ahead and get your coffee brewing. You can use any of your favorite brands of coffee.
Now you will work on whipping up your heavy cream, and spices. You want to whip until it becomes a whipped stiff peaks just like whipped topping.
Heat up your milk and stir in with your coffee. Then add your whipped topping on top, and top with a sweet sugar coated gingerbread cookie if you would like.
Serve up your warm drink and enjoy!
Can I Make This an Iced Drink
Absolutely! Go right ahead and brew your coffee or take old chilled coffee. Then mix with the milk to make it creamy, add ice. Then top with whipped gingerbread topping.
I have done hot or cold and either is very delicious.

Can I Double This Drink Recipe
Go right ahead and make as much or as little of this gingerbread coffee drink as you would like. If you make extra whipped gingerbread topping you will want to store any of your leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
That way it stays firm, and then you can use to top your drinks. If need be give it a stir and then top your coffee. Or you could even make this with warm milk if you are wanting to make this for a child.
Can I Use Decaf Coffee
You can use any flavor or variety of coffee as you would like. I love using our classic Starbucks style coffee, but get creative and try flavored coffees. Or if you can’t have caffeine go for a decaf. It will taste just as good.
Can I Use A Milk Alternative
If you don’t want to use heavy whipping cream you can try it using a coconut cream and make sure it is full fat. I think it would whip up similar, but of course offer a coconut twist to the drink. I can’t vouch it will work but I would assume it could give you the closest result if you were interested in a dairy free version.
