This time of year is pretty much the only time I bake (and let myself eat) holiday candy! It’s one of my favorite traditions and my kids love helping me bake goodies for the office, neighbors, and friends! This Turtle Clusters Recipe is perfect for Christmas and I am super excited to share it with you!
It’s the perfect mix of chocolate, nuts, and caramel! Plus, you could even sprinkle some sea salt on top and make Salted Turtle Clusters! Plus, we have even more holiday candy recipes for you to try this year!
Turtle Clusters Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup Pecan Pieces
12 Kraft Caramels
12 oz. Chocolate Chips or Chocolate Bark
DIRECTIONS:
In a greased Small Muffin Pan or Cheesecake Pan place 1 tsp. of Chopped Pecans.
Top each set of pecans with an unwrapped caramel.
Place in the oven at 250 degrees for about 5 minutes until soft.
Press caramels into the pecans with the back of a spoon.
Melt chocolate in the microwave in 15-second intervals stirring in between until smooth.
Spoon 1 spoonful of chocolate (approx. 1 oz.) on top of each caramel cluster.
Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
