Valentine Decor from Dollar Tree

Flower Wall

Supplies: Floral Picks, Wire Cutters, Washi Tape

Instructions: Trim the floral picks with wire cutters and tape on the wall for a festive Valentine’s Day backdrop! You could use this behind a dessert bar, on an accent wall in your home, or behind one wall of your dinner table for a family valentine dinner at home!

Tassel Garland

Supplies: Tissue Paper, Embroidery Floss or Bakers Twine, scissors, hot glue

Instructions: Fold one piece of tissue paper into fourths and fold in half the other way. Trim strips of paper for the tassels, twist the sides together like in the photo and secure with a dot of hot glue around the string.

This would be cute layered over existing art in your home, on your fireplace mantle, or hanging at the top of a window from the curtain rod.

DIY Valentine’s Day XO Mugs

Supplies: Four white mugs, Black Permanent Ink Marker, Floral Picks

Instructions: With a sharpie, write an “x” and an “o” on each mug, trim flowers to size, and fill each mug with 5-7 flowers. These would be cute to set on a shelf, to use as a centerpiece on your table (you could write the X and O’s on each side of the mugs), or on your kitchen counter.

Doily Wrapped Votive Candles

Supplies: Glass Votive Holders, White Votive Candles, Colored String or Bakers Twine, Velvet Heart Stickers (From the seasonal section), Hot Glue, Heart doilies (seasonal section)

Instructions: Trim the doily to size and secure around the votive with a small dot of hot glue. Wrap string or bakers twine around the doily and tie the ends together in the front to secure it. Trim the ends of the knot and cover with a felt heart sticker. Insert a white candle and light for a special Valentine’s Day dinner at home!

Ribbon Photo Frame

Supplies: Dollar Tree Photo frame, 2 patterns of Valentine Ribbon, Hot Glue

Instructions: First, you will trim two pieces of ribbon to size (depending on the frame you chose) and hot glue on the sides of the frame, wrapping the ends around each side to the back. I hot glued each end with a dot on the backside of the frame and it worked well.

But, if you’d like to be able to remove the ribbon to use the photo frame after Valentine’s Day, you could use removable glue dots. Then cut two pieces of ribbon to glue on the top and bottom of the frame. This is a super cute way to add pops of color in your home for Valentine’s Day!
