Walt Disney World Opening
Disney has recently announced they will begin reopening theme parks! As you can imagine, the reopening of a resort and theme park as massive as Disney World is going to take a lot of planning! So many people are ready to take in all the Disney Magic and are willing to make the adjustments. Here is what we know at this point.
Disney World will be staggering the opening of their parks and resorts. They recently opened Shanghai Disney Resort and Disney Springs. Now they will start the phased reopening of the parks. The Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will be the first to reopen on July 11. If all goes well, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios will open on July 15.
Things are going to be very different in the early stages. Disney will put limits on attendance to control guest density and to keep the social distancing policies in place. So you will not see parades or fireworks at night. They will not be doing character meet and greet but characters will still be in the parks to entertain guests.
Buy Disney World Tickets for 2021
Disney had to stop new ticket sales for this year to help manage the attendance at their parks as they reopen. So if you did not have tickets purchased for this year then you may not be able to purchase them for 2020. The good news is 2021 Disney World tickets are now available for purchase!
