It’s time for Spring Cleaning in our house and with three little ones running around it’s always a great idea to use as few chemicals as you can so I thought I would put together a quick list of some of my favorite Homemade Household Cleaning Recipes you can make with just 12 items!
Not only are homemade cleaners safer for your family, they are also a great way to save money on household products!
Here are 12 cleaners you can make with just 12 different ingredients! Grab the shopping list and double check it because I’m guessing you already have most of these items on hand and you most likely won’t need to buy everything listed.
Household Cleaner Shopping List
Vinegar
Alcohol
Corn Starch
Baking Soda
Castile Soap
Borax
Dawn
Washing Soda
Fels Naptha
Peroxide
Lemon Juice
Epsom Salt
Once you have all these ingredients on hand you can make any of the recipes below! The ideas are really endless, for example if you have Castile soap you can also make your own hand soap, body wash and more so these few ingredients create just about any household cleaning recipe you can imagine!
All of these ingredients are priced around $1 or less! The only exception is the Castile soap which comes in a HUGE Bottle for around $13-$14 in most stores. That’s a huge bottle that will last you a really long time since it’s so concentrated you won’t ever use very much at one time.
