Have you heard of StitchFix? It’s an online personal shopping service where you get a personal stylist to pick out and send you clothes! Shipping is Free and all you pay is a $20 Deposit on your box to get it shipped out, the $20 applies towards any items you keep. I recently tried StitchFix for the first time and I thought I would put together 15 thoughts that I and probably every other women out there has had when trying StitchFix for the first time.

There’s no way those clothes could actually fit
I’m pretty sure that I can’t find clothes on my own when I go to the store, Why would someone else be able to send me clothes that fit without ever seeing me in person.
Truth! I seriously thought there was no way anyone could pick out clothes for me. The trick here is to create DETAILED Pinterest Boards or Comments on exactly what you like so your stylist can get to know you better.
Well everyone loves it, maybe I should try it just once
I can’t tell you how many friends have raved about StitchFix for a LONG time and I just ignored it for a long time thinking it would never work for me.
I don’t want to waste money on the styling fee
I really think this was the thing I had to get past, You pay $20 to get your box sent and it’s basically a deposit on your items, the $20 comes off anything you keep. I was worried I wouldn’t like any of them.
Yes, just try it once, you can always cancel (No penalties) and you can sign up for quarterly boxes, they don’t have to be monthly. I probably would have signed up sooner if I had realized that.
Yay! My stitch fix box arrived
Nothing more exciting that seeing that first box arrive!
Oh no, now I have to remember to try it all on before I run out of time to send it back
Ahhh, You only have 7 business days to send your stuff back so make sure you don’t forget to try it on right away so you can decide what you want. I posted photos on my Personal Facebook Profile to get some second opinions while deciding what to keep! I loved this, I wouldn’t have kept one of the items if it wasn’t for my Friends encouragement.
Oh I hope those clothes actually fit
Be Honest, we all stress and worry that the clothes won’t actually fit. I did have a few that didn’t fit exactly right, but I think that had more to do with the cut than the size of the items.
What if I’m too fat? Maybe is should just send them all back without trying them on.
Yup, I thought this one too. :) I think I was just nervous and I should have opened my box and tried them on sooner rather than stressing over it.
Just open the box! Ha! I looked at my box for almost 24 hours before I opened it, Next time I think I’ll open it right away because I’ll be so excited to see what’s included.
I loved the personal note from my stylist, I love that she actually read what I wrote in my notes and that she put some thought into what she was choosing based on what I asked for.
Wow I would never have picked that but I love it
There were probably 3 items that at first I thought I wouldn’t like, when I opened the style cards I thought for sure I would send them back, after trying them on (And posting on Facebook to get my friends opinions) I really fell in love with 2 of them mainly because of how well they fit.
Ohhhh…. I save money if I keep all 5 ;)
Don’t say you haven’t done it, we have all thought about keeping all 5 because you save 25% off your entire box if you keep all 5. If all of my items had fit really well I would have done this and I have several friends that have done this in the past so I might be tempted to do that in the future. You can’t beat a 25% savings!
Free Returns, easiest thing ever.
I was really worried about getting things shipped back in 3 days, I’m a total procrastinator but the fact that the already have the label printed and on the return bag makes it SO EASY, All I had to do was put in the items that I didn’t want, seal it up and place it in the mailbox! SO EASY!
I don’t know if I would use StitchFix every month, but once a quarter or when I know I have an event coming up then it’s an easy way to get a great selection of clothes to choose from. I made sure to tell my stylist that I had a conference coming up and I was able to get 2 awesome dresses that were exactly what I needed without spending any time shopping. The time savings is by far my favorite aspect of using StitchFix.
