Create the feeling of a fair in your own home. Make corn dogs and fries, and your own elephant ears or funnel cakes if you wish. Have each family member create a fun game to share, do face paintings, and get into the feeling of all things county fair.
3. Go to Paris.
Feel like you are in Paris when you get together to bake sweet treats, enjoy cheese and crackers, listen to Parisian music, and enjoy your dinner in a DIY outdoor bistro. It is a fun way to feel like you are in Paris even if just for a night. Don’t forget to wear a fancy hat.
4. Italy anyone?

There is no need to travel far for a film festival. Give kids a camera to make their own film to share. You can also view family films together complete with a family run snack bar, paper tickets, and seating lined up in a row.
