Directions for Christmas Tree Craft For Kids
- First, download and print our free Christmas tree template. There are two sizes to choose from which print on two pages. We like creating both sizes because when they’re clustered together, it gives the setting more visual interest when the trees are different heights.
- Cut out the templates and trace them on green cardstock. You could also use printed holiday cardstock for this, too!
- Next, cut out the green Christmas trees! We used a variety of green cardstock, but you could use all the same color, too. Remember to make the middle cut in the top of one tree and the bottom of the other tree. This allows the pieces of the tree to connect and be able to stand up.
- Next, use glue to decorate the trees. Regular classroom glue is perfect. Or, if an adult or older child is creating this project, hot glue works very well, too, and requires no drying time.
- Lastly, arrange your trees! Spread out the different heights and the different shades of green, if applicable.

Christmas Craft For Kids
I can’t wait for you to try this project with your children! This also would make for a great youth group or classroom party group craft. You could create little kits for each person which would include two pieces of green paper, the printable template, and little gems or poms in a baggie for the kiddos to use.
