This Cinnamon & Sugar Sweet Potatoes Recipe is likely to become a new holiday staple at your family dinner! I know that my crew loves this recipe every time I pull it out of the oven! There is just something about the flavor and aroma of holiday recipes! It brings back so many memories and traditions that just can’t be beat! Cinnamon & Sugar Sweet Potatoes
INGREDIENTS:
5-6 Medium Size Sweet Potatoes
1/4 Cup Butter (1/2 stick), melted
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans
8 oz. Marshmallows
Directions:
Peel and chop Sweet Potatoes and place them in a greased baking dish.
In a bowl slowly combine melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Pour sugar mixture over the sweet potatoes and stir, top with pecans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes.
Slowly add in 1/4 cup of flour to help thicken the sauce and bake for 10 more minutes.
Top with marshmallows and bake another 5 minutes or until marshmallows are browned.
